ALOR SETAR, 13 Feb – Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO Kedah meminta Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) Kedah memulakan siasatan berhubung dakwaan kes penyelewengan pelaburan balak oleh Kerajaan Pas di Papua New Guinea.
Ketuanya, Datuk Shaiful Hazizy Zainol Abidin berkata siasatan itu perlu dibuat supaya rakyat Kedah mengetahui intipati berkaitan salah guna kuasa yang berlaku semasa zaman pentadbiran Tan Sri Azizan Abdul Razak sebagai Menteri Besar Kedah.
Beliau berkata perjumpaan dengan SPRM itu bagi menyahut cabaran Pesuruhjaya Pas Kedah Datuk Mahfuz Omar supaya kerajaan negeri sekarang pimpinan Barisan Nasional dan UMNO mencari sebarang salah laku kuasa semasa Kedah diperintah Pas.
“Pada 2012, Pemuda Gerakan Kedah telah membuat laporan berkaitan isu balak ini tetapi hingga sekarang masih dalam siasatan, jadi kita minta SPRM ambil tindakan segera berkenaan isu balak di Papua New Guinea yang telah mengalami kerugian sebanyak RM13.49 juta,” katanya kepada pemberita di Pejabat SPRM di sini hari ini.
Beliau berkata pada 12 Okt 2008, Kedah Corporation Berhad (KCB) anak syarikat milik penuh Perbadanan Menteri Besar Kedah (PMBKed) telah menandatangani Perjanjian Penjualan Saham dengan MAS Incorporated (Papua New Guinea) Ltd (MAS) dengan membeli 70 peratus saham dalam syarikat tersebut.
Pada 18 Okt 2012, Pemuda Gerakan Kedah telah meminta menteri besar ketika itu (Azizan) memberi penjelasan berhubung projek pembalakan dan perladangan di Papua New Guinea yang mengalami kerugian kira-kira RM13.49 juta.
Ketua Pemuda Gerakan Kedah Tan Keng Liang berkata berdasarkan laporan Jabatan Audit Negara (2011), kerajaan Kedah mengalami kerugian dalam projek pembalakan dan perladangan yang didaftarkan di negara itu.
“Mahfuz berkata tiada sebarang salah laku pada zaman pemerintahan Pas tetapi di sini kita dapat melihat dengan jelas bahawa mereka telah menyalah guna tadbir urus kerana tidak melakukan perbincangan sebelum membuat pelaburan balak itu,” kata Shaiful Hazizy.
Beliau berkata sebelum melakukan pelaburan, kerajaan Pas sepatutnya merujuk kepada Kementerian Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri terlebih dahulu sebelum mengambil keputusan untuk melabur yang akhirnya mengalami kerugian berjumlah jutaan ringgit.
Shaiful Hazizy berkata SPRM perlu menyegerakan siasatan terhadap kes ini kerana tidak mahu rakyat Kedah berprasangka tidak baik terhadap kerajaan negeri sekarang.
Pemuda Perlu Tangkis Dakyah Pembangkang Putar Belit Isu Hak Sabah, Kata Salleh
KOTA KINABALU, 13 Feb – Pimpinan Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO negeri diminta menjelaskan kepada rakyat di peringkat akar umbi mengenai hak dan kepentingan Sabah seperti yang terkandung dalam perlembagaan bagi mengelak mereka dikelirukan pihak tidak bertanggungjawab.
Timbalan Pengerusi Badan Perhubungan UMNO Sabah Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Tun Said Keruak ketika memberi peringatan itu berkata, langkah itu penting memandangkan ada pihak-pihak tertentu cuba memutarbelitkan isu hak dan kepentingan Sabah untuk mencari keuntungan politik.
Beliau berkata Pemuda UMNO perlu bersikap proaktif dalam mempertahankan hak-hak Sabah sebagaimana termaktub semasa pembentukan Malaysia dahulu.
“Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO perlu dilihat berprinsip teguh dalam menghadapi isu ini kerana banyak pihak cuba memanipulasi soal hak Sabah ini bagi kepentingan politik mereka. Bukan bermaksud bersikap konfrontasi, tapi kita kena manfaatkan UMNO sebagai parti nasional untuk mempertahankannya,” katanya.
Beliau berkata demikian kepada rombongan Pergerakan Pemuda UMNO Sabah diketuai ketuanya, Mohd Yamani Hafiz Musa yang mengunjunginya di sini hari ini.
Sebelum ini, pelbagai pihak membangkitkan isu ‘Sabah for Sabahan’ dan isu Perjanjian 20 Perkara untuk mempengaruhi pemikiran dan sentimen rakyat Sabah.
Salleh yang juga Speaker Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Sabah berkata Pemuda UMNO perlu sentiasa berada di hadapan dalam menangkis dakyah politik yang dimainkan pembangkang, menghadapi cabaran serta isu-isu semasa demi kelangsungan perjuangan.
Menurutnya, sebagai anak muda dan kumpulan paling ramai dalam parti, pimpinan Pemuda tentunya lebih memahami denyutan nadi rakyat di peringkat akar umbi dan menjadi sebagai jambatan di antara rakyat dan kerajaan.
Salleh berkata Pemuda UMNO Sabah di bawah kepimpinan Yamani Hafiz telah mengatur pelbagai program turun padang mendekati rakyat di peringkat akar umbi tetapi beliau mengingatkan supaya usaha itu dilakukan secara berterusan dan bukannya bermusim.
Taib Mahmud Letak Jawatan 28 Feb Ini, Adenan Satem Ketua Menteri Sarawak
KUCHING, 12 Feb – Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud hari ini mengumumkan meletakkan jawatan sebagai Ketua Menteri Sarawak berkuat kuasa 28 Feb dan akan digantikan oleh Menteri di Pejabat Ketua Menteri (Tugas-Tugas Khas) Tan Sri Adenan Satem.
Beliau berkata surat peletakan jawatannya telah diserahkan kepada Yang Dipertua Negeri Sarawak Tun Abang Muhammad Salahuddin Abang Barieng hari ini.
“Apabila saya memaklumkan kepada beliau (Tun Abang Muhammad Salahuddin) mengenai niat saya (untuk meletak jawatan sebagai Ketua Menteri), beliau tiada bantahan,” katanya dalam sidang akhbar selepas menghadap Yang Dipertua Negeri Sarawak itu di Astana Negeri di sini.
Beliau berkata nama Adenan yang juga anggota Majlis Tertinggi Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) dicadangkan kepada Tun Abang Muhammad Salahuddin dan beliau bersetuju dan majlis angkat sumpah sebagai Ketua Menteri Sarawak yang baharu akan diadakan pada 28 Feb.
“Adenan mewakili satu bentuk perjanjian antara tiga calon (yang disebut-sebut mengantikan Taib sebagai Ketua Menteri),” katanya.
Dua lagi calon ialah Timbalan Presiden PBB Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg dan Naib Presiden Kanan PBB Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan.
Taib berkata pemilihan Adenan, yang juga Anggota Dewan Undangan Negeri Tanjung Batu, sebagai penggantinya juga untuk memastikan Barisan Nasional negeri akan terus mengekalkan semangat berpasukan yang semakin utuh dalam kalangan mereka sejak beberapa tahun lepas.
Beliau yakin dengan dasar-dasar sedia ada yang telah dibangunkan bersama-sama dan pasukan pemimpin yang akan bekerja dengan Adenan, Sarawak akan mampu meneruskan momentum pembangunan pesat pada masa depan.
Taib, yang telah memegang jawatan Ketua Menteri sejak 1981 berkata beliau juga akan mengosongkan kerusi Dewan Undangan Negeri Balingian yang diwakilinya susulan peletakan jawatannya itu.
“Sebarang pilihan raya kecil selepas saya mengundurkan diri diserahkan untuk diputuskan oleh Ketua Menteri yang baharu (Adenan) dan mungkin ia akan menjadi tugas pertama beliau untuk merundingi semua rakan (parti-parti komponen) Barisan Nasional (mengenai) siapa yang akan mengisinya (kekosongan itu).
“Saya tidak ada siapa yang mahu dicalonkan sebagai pengganti saya dan untuk bersikap adil, saya serahkannya kepada Ketua Menteri (yang baharu),” katanya.
Anwar Pemimpin Dunia, Tapi Jepun “Reject” Tak Bagi Masuk
Lawak!!!
Ingat hanya seorang dua yang perasan, rupanya ramai yang ketawa terbahak-bahak dengan kenyataan Timbalan Presiden PKR, Azmin mastertoto Ali semalam yang menyifatkan ‘Bapa Sandiwara Negara’Anwar Ibrahim sebagai ‘Pemimpin Bertaraf Dunia’.
Menurut Azmin, Ketua Pembangkang itu di perlukan oleh banyak negara di dunia terutamanya di Timur Tengah.
“Saya sudah kenal lama Anwar. Sudah lebih 30 tahun, dia capitaltoto seorang pemimpin bertaraf dunia dan akan menjadi wakil rakyat penduduk di Kajang. Dia (Anwar) bukan diperlukan di Malaysia sahaja, tetapi dia pemimpin dunia.. negara Islam di Timur Tengah pun memerlukan Anwar.
“Jadi orang Kajang harus bersyukur kerana pemimpin dunia turun sini berjuang,” ujarnya ketika menyampaikan ucapan pada sesi Taklimat Jentera Pilihan Raya PRK N25 Kajang di Dewan Orang Ramai Kampung Sungai Sekamat semalam.
Ada yang mengatakan, kenyataan Azmin itu agak keterlaluan kerana cuba membodek Anwar dengan meletakkannya di tempat yang tidak sepatutnya. Namun ramai juga yang beranggapan kenyataan tersebut lebih bersifat untuk menyindir atau dalam bahasa mudah ‘pukul dalam senyap’.
Ini kerana Azmin yakin dan sedar, kenyataannya itu akan menyebabkan semakin ramai yang akan mentertawakan Anwar sekali gus menyebabkan imej dan maruah Ketua Umum PKR itu semakin tercalar.
Masakan tidak, pertengahan bulan muliatoto yang lalu masyarakat di negara ini tiba-tiba gempar dengan laporan berita mengenai Anwar yang dihalau pulang kerana pihak imigresen Jepun tidak membenarkannya masuk ke negara itu.
Demi untuk mengelakkan maruahnya dari tercalar, Anwar cuba menyalahkan kerajaan Malaysia yang dikatakan menjadi dalang kerana berpakat dengan kerajaan Jepun untuk memalukannya.
Namun semua tuduhan yang tidak berasas itu, kembali menimpa dirinya, apabila jurucakap kedutaan Jepun di negara ini menjelaskan masalah itu berpunca dari Anwar sendiri, yang gagal untuk memohon dan mengemukakan visa perjalanan.
Rentetan daripada itu, masyarakat Malaysia mula mentertawakan Anwar yang jelas telah memperbodohkan dirinya sendiri. Di laman media-media sosial pula, penuh dengan watak-watak animasi Jepun seperti Doraemon, Ultraman, Kesatria Baja Hitam dan banyak lagi yang dijadikan bahan lawak jenaka ekoran insiden yang sultantoto memalukan itu.
Kesimpulannya, tindakan Azmin mengatakan Anwar adalah pemimpin dunia bukanlah untuk memuji jauh sekali untuk membodek, tapi merupakan serangan hendap bagi mengajarnya.
Ini kerana, tindakan Anwar untuk bertanding di Dun Kajang hanya bertujuan untuk membunuh peluang Azmin yang telah lama mengidamkan jawatan tersebut. Malah kehadiran Anwar di Selangor juga bakal menyebabkan Azmin hilang pengaruh sekali gus mengelakkannya menggunakan pimpinan PKR negeri untuk mengugut Anwar seperti yang pernah dilakukan sebelum ini.
Ertinya Azmin sedar, Anwar cuba membunuh 2 ekor burung, dengan menggunakan satu batu. Selain membunuh Khalid yang dilihat tidak cekap, Anwar sudah pasti akan mampu menghalang atau paling tidak youngtoto mengurangkan pengaruh politik Azmin yang suatu ketika dahulu pernah dilihat sebagai ‘anak emas’ atau bakal pengganti kepada Anwar.
